Stephen Coles, Associate Curator & Editorial Director at the Letterform Archive, talks with Max about the history of the museum, special collections and the unique letter forms associated with neon signs. Located in San Francisco and founded by Rob Saunders in 2015, the collection, compromised of over 50,000 items - focuses on lettering, typography, printing, and graphic design. They also talk about the museums recent participation in the Neon Speaks Festival and Symposium, building a center for inspiration and education - and the various ways to experience the collection.
