Will I get a mock-up of my neon sign?

Yes! Once you submit your design, our neon sign makers will email you a mock-up and pricing for your project for approval, at no extra cost. Once you’re satisfied and ready-to-order, you’ll be given access to our payment portal to complete the transaction. After payment is received, an order confirmation email will be sent to your inbox and manufacturing of your neon sign will begin. Your order turnaround time begins the moment the order is placed. Once a custom sign order is approved and work on your neon sign has begun, no refunds will be issued.

How large can I make my neon sign?

Due to shipping and logistics, our largest sign offering is 5 ft in any direction. Our minimum letter height is roughly 5 inches. If your neon sign order is larger than 5 ft, it will be made on two or more backings that can easily be arranged.

Can I order a custom sign that is partially neon with a custom graphic?

Yes. We offer a vinyl printed overlay that can be combined with our LED neon material. It’s an effective way to add bold imagery and finer details to your custom design, such as with gradients or smaller text.

What is the LED neon material attached to?

All our neon signs are affixed to an acrylic backing, which comes in three different colors (clear, white, and black). Each variety can be cut to the customers desired shape.

Do you offer free-standing LED neon signs?

Yes. We can create an acrylic base to allow your LED neon sign to stand-up on its own. Backing color options include clear, black, and white.

How do I hang my neon sign?

All of our neon LED signs are mounted to an acrylic backing and shipped with the proper hanging hardware. Led Neon is very light. In fact, our neon LED signs weigh roughly 6-12lb on average. Our neon signs are safe to transport and easy to install. For mounting to a wall, we include screws, anchors, and standoffs. If you’re planning to hang your neon sign instead, we include a metal chain and eyehooks which attach directly to the backing as well. Can I hang my neon LED sign outdoors?

Our standard custom neon signs are intended for indoor use or in fair weather instances. However, if you intend to use your neon sign outdoors – we offer a water-resistant version upon request. Please mention during the ordering process if this is the case.

How are your neon LED signs powered?

All our custom LED neon signs are made for and powered via a standard USA electrical wall socket. They also come with a transparent 3-4 ft. cord which then plugs into a power adapter. The adapter itself has an additional 6ft of black cable that plugs into the wall outlet. All our neon signs come with a free dimmer and flash functionality, plus remote controller.

Can I dim my neon LED sign?

Yes. All our custom neon signs come with our one-of-a-kind remote controller and dimmer functionality – giving you a wide range of brightness settings and options to play with. This includes on/off, flash, pulse, and flicker – all of which are adjustable to your liking. The dimmer is great for taking photos and in instances where lower levels of light are required.

How long will my neon sign last?

The life of LED neon signs largely depends on the quality and level of use. Neon LED signs generally have a lifespan of up to 40,000 hours or 4 years of illumination.

What’s different about LED neon signs when compared to traditional glass neon?

First off, affordability. LED neon signs are cheaper than glass neon. Traditional glass neon signs require more skilled labor to assemble and properly install. LED neon signs are less prone to breakage than traditional neon which are crafted out of glass tubing and contain mercury and phosphor. Keep in mind that this maintenance must be carried out by a qualified professional, which will result in further costs. For that reason, LED neon is very safe for use in high traffic areas, around kids, inside the home, and in businesses. Since it’s lightweight and compact, LED neon is easy to install and maintain. Drop the buzz, LED neon signs are quiet and won’t interfere with radio signals or outside factors such as interreference from audio equipment, Wi-fi, and common household electrical devices.

How are LED neon lights made?

Mondo Neon’s custom LED neon signs are created by hand and made up of small semiconductor devices called LEDs, which stands for light emitting diode. Each LED component consists of a chip with an integrated circuit that transmits a signal electronically and enables the device to emit light. Wire then connects the LEDs together to create a configuration based on the overall design. Last but not least, a PVC coating is introduced to add stability and further diffuse the light.

Is your LED neon sign eco-friendly?

Our LED neon is energy efficient and are environmentally friendly. LED neon signs do not contain phosphor and mercury like with traditional neon. In fact, many big-box home goods stores offer in-store recycling bins where you can drop off LED lights.

How do I clean my neon sign?

If you want to dust or clean your neon sign, always be sure to unplug the neon first. Then, use a feather duster or a soft, dry cloth to remove any dirt or dust from the tubing and backing. Never use a liquid cleaner on your neon.

What is your payment & billing terms and conditions?

Payment for all signs and products can be ordered using a major credit card. We have a no return policy on all custom neon signs.

What are the shipping costs?

Shipping is available within the lower 48 US states and is free. Standard orders take generally 2-3 weeks, including production and shipping. A rush order option is available upon request and adds additional cost - lead times vary.

Does my new sign come with a warranty?

Your neon sign product comes with a 6-month warranty which covers electrical components. Inappropriate use of your neon sign will void warranty. We bear no responsibility for any costs or damages incurred during installation or hard wiring the unit. In the event that your neon sign is experiencing a presumed fault, we’ll require photo and video and request the sign be sent back to us for replacement or repair.

What if my sign arrives damaged?

If your neon sign has been damaged in transit, the best thing for you to do is to report the issue within 24-48 hours of your delivery to be eligible for an inspection. Damage or faults reported outside this time period will be covered on a case-by-case basis. Please do not ship us any neon signs for repair without prior consent.
