How to Install Your Custom Neon Sign

When it comes to custom neon signs, installation is quick and easy. Here’s the most common approach to installing our neon sign using the included hanging kit. We also provide you the option of hanging your neon sign by chain or using other attachments of your liking.

Preparation - locate your neon hanging kit accessories such as standoffs, screws, and drywall anchors. Find a pencil, hammer, screwdriver and electric drill with a ¼” drill bit.

Step 1

Pick a spot for your sign on the wall. Using your pencil, place a mark at each of the pre-drilled holes located on your signs plastic backing material to determine the screw hole locations. Once you’re finished, set the neon sign down in a safe place and proceed to the next step.

Step 2

With the holes marked, grab your electric tool and drill each of the marked areas. Next, take your drywall anchors and tap them in the wall using a hammer.

Step 3

Up next, place a screw inside each standoff and, using your screwdriver, screw each end piece to the wall. With your neon sign in hand, align each side to the posts. Last but not least, place the top portion of the standoff on top and gently tighten until the sign is secured to the wall.

Not only do you have a beautiful, customized piece of art, but you've also learned a few valuable skills along the way. So, to finish off your masterpiece, all you have to do is attach the corresponding wires from the transformer into the leads and plug it in to the wall.
